WOW what a week! Just returned home from a great week at the 2010 Junior National Hereford Expo in Indianapolis. It was a successful week for the Adcocks topped off with Tamar being elected to the NJHA board. Our thanks to all the Illinois Hereford breeders and juniors who were so supportive. Thanks to all of you - you are truly a blessing. |
![]() Dean-o had his game face on as he made his way through a tough junior division. He showed his bred\owned heifer Jacobi like a pro. The champion buckle is beautiful and he wears it with pride! |
![]() Taryn returned to the finals of intermediate showmanship for the second consequtive year! The intermediate division is incrediably tough so this is no small accomplishment! |
|
![]() Tamar achieved a big goal by reaching the finals of senior showmanship this year. This was her first year to be in the senior division. Our thanks to the many "big brothers" who have helped her learn to fit over the years. Special thanks to Jacob Chapman for his encouragement and to John Bickelhaupt and Jonathon Harfst for helping with the pre-game prep! |
![]() It was a emotional moment as Kaitlyn Mulvany took off the burgandy jacket she has worn so well and passed it on to Tamar. Tamar spent the week going through several interviews and meeting voting delegates as a candidate for the NJHA board. We are very proud of her but equally proud of Taryn, Dean, and Del for picking up the extra work at stalls without complaint. |

![]() The IJHA was well represented as we took home two of the four coveted Golden Bull Awards. Tamar and fellow IJHA member and good friend Cody Crum. Tamar also received 4th place in the Ed Bible Scholarship. |
